Boostly provides general fitness and nutrition information generated from published formulas (for example Mifflin-St Jeor) and your own inputs. It is not medical advice, and Boostly is not a medical device, dietitian, or healthcare provider.
Talk to a professional first
Consult your GP or an accredited practising dietitian before starting any training or nutrition program — especially if you are pregnant, under 18, have a medical condition, an injury, a history of disordered eating, or take medication that affects appetite, weight, or exercise capacity.
Estimates, not measurements
Calorie burn, BMR/TDEE, and macro targets are estimates. Real-world needs vary between individuals and across time.
Safety floors are guidance, not prescriptions
Boostly refuses to set targets below its built-in floors — never below your BMR, deficits capped at 20%, protein and fat minimums — but staying above a floor does not make a plan right for you.
Stop if something is wrong
Pain, dizziness, or unusual symptoms during exercise mean stop and seek medical advice. In an emergency call 000 (AU).
You own your decisions
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose consumer guarantees are not excluded), Boostly and its developers are not liable for injury or loss arising from use of the app's information.
