Terms of use
Version 1.0 · Last updated 13 July 2026 · Template copy pending legal review before store launch.
1. Agreement
By installing or using Boostly you agree to these terms, the privacy policy, and the medical disclaimer. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. What Boostly is
A fitness, nutrition, and grocery-budget tool providing general guidance, not medical advice. Supermarket prices are indicative estimates from licensed feeds, moderated community submissions, manual entry, or realistic mocks — never offers, and never scraped. Boostly is not affiliated with Woolworths Group, Coles Group, or ALDI.
3. Your account
The offline app needs no account. Online features (sync, social) require one; keep your credentials to yourself and tell us about any breach. You can delete your account and its server-side data at any time, in-app or via the deletion form.
4. Acceptable use
- Community price submissions must be honest — deliberately false prices get removed and repeat offenders blocked.
- Social features are for training with mates, not harassment. Blocking is respected everywhere; abuse loses the account.
- No attempts to break, overload, or reverse the service; no scraping our APIs.
5. Subscriptions
The core app is free. Boost is a paid subscription billed by the app store under the store's terms — cancellations and refunds run through the store. Prices are shown in AUD before you pay; we never see your payment details.
6. Your content
What you log stays yours. Things you explicitly share (feed items, leaderboard scores, prices) are licensed to us only as needed to run the feature you shared them into, and are removed when you retract or delete.
7. Liability
Boostly is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law — including the Australian Consumer Law, whose consumer guarantees are not excluded — we are not liable for indirect loss, or for injury or loss arising from use of the app's information. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in-app with reasonable notice. Continuing to use Boostly after notice means acceptance.
